Black Ops Cold War Pro players ban this weapon from competitive play

Black Ops Cold War professionals rate a weapon too good, which leads to the weapon being banned in competitive play.

Every now and then a weapon will appear in FPS games that is just too good for competitive play. If it stays in the meta, teams will end up using it, just like Warzone with the overkill DMR.

To avoid this problem, professional players tend to exclude certain weapons from competitive play. Now, it looks like Black Ops Cold War players just got a major ban.

The latest GA (or Gentleman’s Agreement) is not strictly legal in the Call of Duty League. However, a GA acts as an understanding that no professional player will use this weapon in tournament play.

Black Ops Cold War Pros Ban AK-47

Due to the too powerful weapon in Black Ops Cold War, professional players decided to ban the AK-47. In the latest GA, Call of Duty League players say goodbye to the iconic assault rifle.

After AK-47 gets too meta-defining, pros are calling for it to be dropped. Some actors have shared their views on the change and so far things look positive.

Now that the AK-47 is out of the way, however, a new meta will appear. And with this new meta comes a new weapon that many will call Mastered.

Right now, it looks like the Krig 6 will be the weapon of choice in the CDL, but there’s still time for things to change. After the AK has been out of the game for a while, professional players will discover a new dominant weapon to build their squads.

Of course, just because the AK-47 is CDL’s best weapon doesn’t mean it’s the first choice for all gamers. In fact, the best weapons in Black Ops Cold War Multiplayer are a bit different from those used by professional players.

On the other hand, in Warzone it’s a whole different story. In battle royale, even competitive players break records with Warzone’s DMR.
