With the February 4 update for Black Ops Cold War just around the corner, here’s what to expect.
Black Ops Cold War’s next major update is almost here and brings some exciting content to the game. With both Multiplayer and Zombie modes getting some much-needed additions, this is the best update we’ve seen in a while.
This will likely be one of the last updates to Black Ops Cold War Season 1, which means Treyarch is going all out.
Here’s what will happen when the Black Ops Cold War update releases on February 4th.
Black Ops Cold War February 4 patch notes
There’s a lot to enjoy in Black Ops Cold War’s February 4 update – here’s what we know so far:
Cold War Multiplayer
It’s time for Black Ops Cold War Multiplayer to get its next map, and it’s one of the most exciting additions to date.
The next map to arrive in Cold War is Express, a fan favorite classic of Black Ops 2. It’s actually the first time this map has been remastered, and fans can’t wait to see it again in action.
Express is located at an American high-speed rail station and offers close-up action and fast transportation.
Players should take advantage of the broad sight lines along the tracks, but stay clear of incoming trains.
New playlists
On February 4, some major changes will also be made to Black Ops Cold War playlists. This includes the addition of a brand new 40-player Endurance game mode to Fireteam: Dirty Bomb.
In this mode, players will again be tasked with collecting uranium to arm various dirty bombs. However, detonating one bomb will put another in line, in a real test of endurance.
To win you will need to achieve a score of 1000, which is double the usual limits in Fireteam: Dirty Bomb. Since this game mode is one of the best ways to quickly upgrade weapons in Black Ops Cold War, Fireteam has become more useful than ever.
Ruka and Alpine will both be playable locations, as will the Sanatorium. The new Fireteam: Dirty Bomb map may have given us a glimpse of the upcoming Warzone map.
But that’s not all that comes, because Treyarch confirms Prop Hunt is getting new cards to play. Since December, fans have loved the addition of the game and many users will be happy to see it get support.
Black Ops Cold War Zombies New Map
But quite possibly the most exciting content drop in Black Ops Cold War is Zombies Mode. Season 1 Reloaded finally brings a brand new Zombies map to the game.
With Firebase Z, players finally have a second map to explore in Black Ops Cold War Zombies. And it looks like a big one.
Previously, we had seen Firebase Z gameplay leaks that we were excited about. Leaks confirmed that Tombstone Perk will be coming to the new map, alongside a plethora of additional content.
However, now we have an official trailer for Cold War Zombies Firebase Z that looks just plain amazing.
