Black Ops Cold War Zombies enjoy a week of free access, allowing all users to try the Undead Slaughter without spending any money.

If you are a Zombies fan but don’t like buying Black Ops Cold War, you’re in luck. According to a new leak, the Zombies mode of Cold War will be available very soon.

This news comes after Treyarch teased a new Zombies reveal for 115 days. Initially, we thought it would be more in-game content, like the new confirmed Cold War Zombie Perk.

Now we are not so sure. Granted, there must be more for players on January 15, but it won’t just be existing fans who get to experience it.

Black Ops Cold War Zombies Free-to-Play Week

According to a new leak on Microsoft’s online store, Black Ops Cold War is going Free-to-Play for a week, starting January 14. This means that more players than ever will be able to download and play Zombies Mode, in its entirety.

It also means that, if Treyarch has a surprise in store for us next week, players will be able to enjoy the new update whether they are ready to open their wallet or not.

Some fans believe we’ll hear some news for the next major Black Ops Cold War Zombie map. However, given that new content is slated for February, we imagine a trailer could be the most anticipated.

The new Cranked game mode will also be available during Free-to-Play Zombies Week. However, those who have secured early access to the game mode report that there is not much to say.

Remarkably, Black Ops Cold War has already had a free multiplayer week and a big sale, despite launching only two months ago. While this is odd to see for a Call of Duty title, it could be due to Activision’s strong implementation of cosmetic microtransactions.

There are already many in-game bundles that Black Ops Cold War can purchase. And one of them breaks the game.

According to new research, a new Cold War blueprint makes Warzone Pay to Win.
