BlackBerry Launch Key2 special edition in red

Following the successful launch of the Cosmic Red edition of the BlackBerry Key2 LE last year and the many column columns published by tech industry journalists hailing the color combination as striking, bold and harmonious, the company is applying the same design principles and is releasing a new updated version of its Key2 smartphone.

The new BlackBerry Key2 in red, manufactured by TCL, will meet specifications with the largest edition of the slate color Key2 currently on the market: a Snapdragon SoC 660 combined with a 4.5-inch 1080×1620 display and a full physical keyboard. Having a smaller screen contributes to the life of the battery, with its size consumed with modern flagship products at 3500 mAh. Memory and storage reach 6GB + 256GB, running Android 8.1.

Personally, the red look is very striking and clearly links several positive visual elements of the device to create a stunning appearance. After the return of the red version of the Key2 LE, it was clearly something to do for the more premium clientele of Blackberry. The red is slightly different for the Key2, more like a red Ferrari. I guess this model could sell in Italy or Liverpool. That said, slate color is still the preferred color for enterprise deployments, which are an important part of the Blackberry business.

The device will be available for pre-order starting today for operators looking to sell this model – the distribution model of this device, like many other midrange devices, is highly targeted, but TCL expects that the device is sold at least in its key markets. For example, we were told that Key1 was initially planned for 15 markets, but extended to 50, and that Key2 continues this trend. The largest current Key2, in slate color, has a retail price of $ 699, and this new model in red will carry a premium at $ 749. The smartphone will also include a set of BlackBerry ear tips, special edition.
