The battle of the two worst defenses of the NHL did not disappoint Monday night at the United Center.

The third period saw DeBrincat repay Toews for a previous flow when he put the captain in place for an insurance goal at 3:51 of the period. DeBrincat's assist was his fifth point of the night and the goal marked Toews' fifth goal in the last six games.
Holding their two-goal lead, the Hawks would face an Ottawa offensive attack attack at the end of the game when the Senators jumped back towards the middle of the third period.
