Blake Shelton is looking to lose his midlife weight before walking down the aisle.
The 44-year-old country music singer opened up about his premarital health goal on a recent episode of “Party Barn Radio” on Apple Music with fellow country music star Luke Bryan.

Shelton admitted on Thursday that he wanted to lose a few pounds before marrying Gwen Stefani.
I have the impression that if I say 10 [pounds], I have to do it, ”he told Bryan. I can’t let people down. “
“I readjusted all the mirrors in the house, so they look like when you take a selfie from above, because I can’t even stand looking at myself in the mirror,” Shelton joked. “So I rearranged them where they’re sort of tilted down, looking down at me, so I’m looking up and it’s not that bad.

The singer ironically joked that he couldn’t enjoy his dyed gray hair because he had gained over 100 pounds.

“I actually really liked it. I really would have liked it better if I hadn’t gained 117 pounds in my 40s,” he told DeGeneres at the time. “I thought it made me look younger, but I was still fat. Now I’m trying to lose weight.”

Despite what he might think of his current weight, the 6-foot-5 singer said he was convinced Stefani would marry him.

Shelton and Stefani went public with their engagement in October after dating for five years.
The country singer is divorced twice, having been married to singer Miranda Lambert and schoolteacher Kaynette Williams.

Stefani divorced her husband, Gavin Rossdale, after 14 years of marriage in 2016. The 51-year-old pop star and her former band member No Doubt received a revocation from the Catholic Church earlier this month , a source told Us magazine.
