Blizzard teases the hero 31 and the return of the summer games for 2019

With summer in full swing, OverwatchThe annual events of the Summer Summer Games will take place. In a developer update for July, the director of the game touted the return of the event with the arrival of Hero 31.

Kaplan did not mention specific dates for either, but said that the summer games will run "much earlier" than in the past. The summer games of last year were held from August 9th to 30th. It is therefore possible that the 2019 event starts as early as this month. Kaplan also mentioned another change from the Summer Games, confirming the weekly mini-challenges that will unlock the Epic skins once completed. Details on the 2019 Summer Games will be available soon.

Kaplan also teased a new hero to come Overwatch.

"Well, do not worry, we're working on a hero," Kaplan said. "The number 31 hero is going to be awesome, but it's going to be released a little later than usual.But it will be here soon, so do not worry.And we think that a little extra time will make the hero even more awesome. "
