Boat catches fire after refueling in Fort Lauderdale marina, FLFR says

FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida – Black smoke could be seen in the sky from Bahia Mar Marina on Sunday morning.

According to Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue, a 28-foot cruise ship had just refueled at the marina when the flames erupted. Fire responders were called to the fire at 801 Seabreeze Boulevard around 10:43 a.m.

Two people and two dogs were on board, but firefighters said no one was injured.

Investigators are looking for the cause of the fire.
