Bob Dylan announced 1970 (50th anniversary collection), a set that includes his May 1, 1970 session with George Harrison. Together they performed nine songs, including covers and originals by Dylan. With the Harrison collaborations, 1970 presents unpublished excerpts from the sessions for Self-portrait and New morning. 1970 released February 26, 2021 (via Columbia Records / Legacy Recordings); check out the tracklist on Bob Dylan’s website.
Dylan quietly released 1970 in limited editions earlier this month to expand its copyright ownership. It recently sold the music publishing rights for its entire catalog to Universal Music Publishing in a landmark deal.
