Bobby Brown breaks his silence after the death of his son: “My family has devastated”

“There are no words to explain the pain,” the singer said of his 28-year-old son, Bobby Jr.

Bobby Brown mourns the loss of his son Bobby Jr., who died Wednesday, November 18 at the age of 28.

“Please keep my family in your prayers at this time,” the singer said in a press release. “Losing my son at this point in our life has devastated my family. There are no words to explain the pain.”

“Bobby Brown Jr. was not feeling well a few days before his death, with flu-like symptoms,” said Christopher Brown, Esq. of Brown & Rosen LLC, attorney for Bobby Brown. “This is a tragic loss and we will let the authorities investigate his death.”

The lawyer added that there would be no further comments.

Los Angeles Police responded to an undisclosed medical emergency at a home in Encino at around 1:50 p.m. on November 18, when they discovered the body.

No cause of death has been revealed, but police do not believe there was any foul play.
