(AP) – The fiance of a woman who was shot by a Minneapolis police officer after calling 911 to report a possible crime was rocking her head in her hands as filmed footage showing her attempts to save were presented at the trial of the officer.

Don Damond refused to watch Thursday's broadcast of chaotic images of unsuccessful attempts to rescue Justine Ruszczyk Damond, who was shot dead minutes after calling 911 to report a possible rape near her home.

Justine had dual American and Australian citizenship and took her fiancé's family name before her marriage, scheduled one month after her death in 2017.

The Star Tribune reported that a body camera showing the body's agent, Mohamed Noor, and his partner were taking turns taking CPR before firefighters arrived and took over.

Meanwhile; the head of the homicide unit of the Minneapolis police testified that the alley's lighting was bright enough that he could clearly see the scene where Damond had been shot. Lieutenant Richard Zimmerman told a prosecutor that he could see the officers involved in the shooting "as if I was watching you right now".

Mohamed Noor is charged with murder and manslaughter for the death of Justine Ruszczyk Damond.
