Bon Iver shares 2 new songs: listen

Good Iver is back. Justin Vernon's ever-expanding musical project has just shared two new songs, expanded their tour dates in the fall and unveiled a mysterious website.

The new songs are called "Hey, Ma" and "U (Man Like)". Bon Iver played the studio recordings for the audience last night at the All Points East Festival in London, where they also directed fans to a website called icommai. The most recent publication of the site features a number of credits, which reflect the impressive list of collaborators for the new songs.

According to a press release, "Hey, Ma" was produced by Chris Messina, Brad Cook, Justin Vernon and BJ Burton. It contains voices of Jenn Wasner of Wye Oak and Psymun extracts. "U (Man Like)" was produced by Messina, Cook and Vernon. It also includes Wasner voices, in addition to Moses Sumney, Elsa Jensen and Bruce Hornsby, who also plays piano on the track. Vernon writes, "This project started with one person, but over the last eleven years, Bon Iver's identity has blossomed and can only be defined by the faces of the ever-growing family that we are."

The group also revealed new North American shows with Feist and Yo La Tengo, in addition to the dates previously announced with Indigo Girls and Sharon Van Etten. See the dates below, where you can also hear the new songs.
