Daniel Craig's James Bond will probably face Rami Malek in Superspy's movie 25.

On Thursday, we received our first details about Bond's next adventure via the livestream of GoldenEye, the Jamaican villa where author Ian Fleming created the character.

We did not have a title, but producer Barbara Broccoli revealed that Bond was not in active service at the beginning of the film. We'll find it cooling down in Jamaica – but we all know it will not last long.

Craig's last outing will be 007. Lea Seydoux will also resume her role as Madeleine Swann of The specter of 2015. Regulars Naomie Harris (Eve Moneypenny), Ralph Fiennes (M), Ben Whishaw (Q), Rory Kinnear (Bond, Tanner) and Jeffrey Wright (CIA Agent Felix Leiter) will also be back.

Join the series are Oscar winner Rami Malek, Lashana Lynch (from Captain Marvel), Billy Magnussen, Ana De Armas, David Dencik and Dali Benssalah. We have not had any details about the new characters, but the video message from Malek leaves us with little doubt that it will be Bond's nemesis.

"I promise you that I will do everything I can to make sure Mr. Bond does not easily win this event on his 25th outing," he said.

It will be shot in Jamaica, Norway, Italy and Pinewood Studios in London.

True Detective director Cary Joji Fukunaga took the helm of Danny Boyle The film will be written by Neal Purvis, Robert Wade, Scott Z. Burns and Phoebe Waller-Bridge, the creator of cult hits Killing Eve and Fleabag.
