You may be wondering how to open it for a moment, but you are inevitably hoping that the answer to this question will be revealed to you later. No chance! You can only open this mysterious gold chest with a golden key, and you will only be able to access it by a few specific methods.
The first method is to order Borderlands 3 in advance, which earns you five Golden Keys. The second method is to get post codes that you can redeem for a chance to receive gold keys. These have always been distributed by Gearbox via newsletters and social media. You can connect the extension codes in the Item Code section of the main menu or on the Borderlands VIP site.
