players report losing all their progress on their PC due to corrupted backup files. Many users seem to believe that the problem lies in the cloud. Several players on Twitter reported issues after activating cloud backups, which were then completely erased or reverted to an earlier backup point.
A fan tweeted Gearbox and Epic Games ask, "I just lost 7 hours of work at Borderlands 3 because something did not work in the cloud except for Epic. [sic] Is there a way to go back so that I do not lose all this time and all the material I have? "

However, others have reported a loss of progress, even when recording locally. The bugs and performance issues are not unusual at the beginning of the game, but Borderlands has already made the experience. Co-op players last week reported a gap when their partner entered the menu to refine their equipment or skills.
