Bose announces a portable household speaker equipped with AirPlay 2

Bose announced today the launch of a new speaker, the Bose portable portable speaker, designed to work with the AirPlay 2 protocol from Apple.

The Bluetooth portable portable speaker is designed to be compact. It has a rather HomePod design with a cylindrical body with a speaker mesh at the bottom and an aluminum shell at the top to deliver 360-degree sound. It is 7.5 inches high and 4 inches in diameter.

The portable speaker at home has a handle so you can move it from one room to the other and it weighs only 2.3 pounds. There is also a built-in battery with 12 hours of battery life, so it can go where you go. Thanks to its IPX4 water resistance index, it can withstand minor spills and splashing rain.

According to Bose, the portable portable speaker offers deeper bass than any other portable speaker of this size. With Bluetooth, you can stream music from your phone or tablet while on the move and at home you can use AirPlay 2, Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.

With AirPlay 2 support, you can play all the music you like from an iOS device, and it can be paired with others AirPlay 2 speakers enabled for a complete home audio experience. You can also associate it with other Bose products with the help of the Bose Music app.

The buttons at the top of the portable speaker allow you to manually control power, volume, play / pause, and track skip. In addition, an exclusive privacy-based Microphone Deactivation feature disables microphone power to allow you to not be registered.

Inside, the speaker is equipped with three passive radiators, a strong excursion driver and, according to Bose, an exclusive deflector to broadcast "a clear and realistic sound, in all directions ".

The new portable portable speaker from Bose is priced at $ 349, which Apple billed for the HomePod before bringing it back to $ 299 earlier this year. It will be available for purchase from September 19th.
