A snake baby trapped in amber who lived in the era of dinosaurs was discovered by scientists.

Professor Michael Caldwell, of the University of Alberta in Canada, specializing in the study of ancient snakes and lizards, has stated: "The baby is indisputably a snake
. "It's the very first baby snake fossil we've ever found."
The skull is missing from the snake but the team was able to badyze 97 more vertebrae attached ribs and they concluded that the backbone of the snakes changed little over the course of nearly 100 million. years.
