SpaceX Launches 10 More Iridium Communications Satellites

VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. (AP) – Ten additional satellites for Iridium Communications successfully launched

A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base, California, at 4:39 on Wednesday and released the satellites about an hour later.

This was the seventh launch in the $ 3 billion Iridium campaign to replace The number of satellites in orbit around the globe is 65. Another launch will bring the number to 75, of which 66 operational satellites and nine spare parts.
