JACKSONVILLE, Florida – Walmart will temporarily close its Normandy Boulevard location on Sunday afternoon to allow more time for the store to clean up as cases of COVID-19 continue to rise in Florida and other parts of the country.

In a statement, Walmart said the 6830 Normandy Boulevard location would close at 2 p.m. Sunday as part of the program launched by the company to give more time for a third-party specialist to sanitize the store and also give more time to partners to restock shelves. Walmart said it plans to reopen its Boulevard de Normandie location to customers at 6 a.m. on Tuesday.
