Bow Wow is in hot water after hosting a rage for a Friday night concert in Houston amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The 33-year-old rapper managed to pack a nightclub full of people who have been seen maskless in tight quarters to celebrate club promoter Larry Morrow’s’All black birthday weekend“.
When images of the Key nightclub performance flooded social media, Twitter users had a lot to say, prompting Bow Wow to respond before deleting all of his tweets.
It comes just days after Texas became the second state to record two million cases of COVID-19, after California. Houston currently has a 20% positivity rate, with a more contagious strain discovered in recent days.

The rapper – who has tried to rebrand himself in recent years as Shad Moss – was seen performing with a bottle of 1942 Don Julio in hand as a crowd of Texas residents marched to the ‘event.
The purported weekend event also saw rapper Meek Mill in attendance with Trey Songz and Fabolous also scheduled to perform.
For many netizens, the only thing wilder than his blatant disregard for COVID-19 was the fact that so many people risked everything to see him play hits from 2005.
Twitter users took to the matter by dragging along those who were desperate enough to see the somewhat outdated rapper, and even Zach Braff had fun.

One user replied to a tweet that read ‘Bow Wow packed the club in Houston’ and wrote: This is the only time bow wow can get the club packed, ‘as the low blows began.
Another wrote: ‘You all risk living for … BOW WOW? As Zach Braff continued, “ I thought about it and decided I’m not ready to die for Bow Wow. ”
The tweets kept coming in as someone posted a photo of the Grim Reaper and wrote: ‘Covid joins Bow Wow on stage …’
A headline from Complex said Bow Wow was being ‘roasted’, while one user turned it around and said it was the ‘crowd’ that should be ‘roasted’ for “ attending the Bow Wow concert in 2021 ”.
Another shared a photo of Squidward holding a blank list and wrote: ‘Every reason to go see bow wow in 2021’

In October, Texas Governor Greg Abbott issued an executive order allowing venues to host indoor events up to 75 percent of capacity, with tables of up to 10 people.
Houston Chief Medical Officer David Persse described safety protocols for hosting special events, which included six feet of physical distance, wearing a mask, temperature checks and a wristband appropriate once guests have been marked as symptom free.
The owners of Spire nightclub, who also own Saturday’s venue, Cle, came under fire for a Lil Baby gig in late November after a video of patrons was released shoulder-to-shoulder without a mask.
Open to business: In an October executive order, Texas Gov. Abbott said venues were allowed to host indoor events up to 75% capacity, although Cle owners have been criticized for a Lil Baby concert at their twin club at the end of November.
An operator responded to the situation by text message telling ABC 13:
“We were below our legal occupancy rate. Every night we strive to keep people socially distant. Once Lil Baby (Wednesday night’s headliner) started performing, people got out of their seats and rushed forward, so we had to interrupt the gig.
The rapper who rose to fame as ‘Lil Bow Wow’ in the early 2000s at the tender age of 13 has lost a lot of credibility as an artist, with many tweets acknowledging that he is pretty much irrelevant in the musical space.
After waking up to the headlines of his performance, the rapper took to Twitter to try and defend himself, although he quickly deleted them on Saturday.
At 2:30 p.m. he wrote: ‘I just woke up … aww my God. Here we go, ”with the laughing cry emoji.

He kept saying, “Dude, I’ve been throwing parties all year round. I wore my mask in the club. I can’t host with this stuff.
The Atlanta resident tried to add that he only removed the mask when he stood up at the microphone, while adding “Keep the sanitizer on me at all times.”
One user attempted to defend the rapper and said: ‘We have had enough of these covid bulls, people have to and want to get out of the house,’ to which Bow Wow replied ‘d’ agreement ”.
He tried to avoid any wrongdoing by quickly pointing out that “Texas is open,” as well as Atlanta. “I can’t help but live in a city where we’ve been open since last spring.
