The family-friendly animated film is selling more tickets than expected, given widespread theaters shutdowns in markets across the country due to an increase in COVID-19 cases.
The Croods: A New Age won $ 3.9 million on Black Friday for a better-than-expected five-day start of more than $ 14 million in North America if the forecast holds.

Joel Crawford directed the sequel to his directorial debut from a screenplay by Dan Hageman, Kevin Hageman, Paul Fisher and Bob Logan.
