Julian Williams entered Jarrett Hurd's backyard and won the 154-pound WBA and IBF titles tonight at a PBC on FOX main event.
It was a tremendous and punchy fight. Williams proved not only the top boxer but could withstand all rallying attempts from Hurd, known as a slow starter who crushed his opponents. He was not able to do that tonight, and all the credit goes to Julian Williams and his team.
This is the kind of victory that really upsets a division and the career of the men in the ring, and that will, hopefully, generate a lot of attention after the fight because it was a fight and a win that deserved attention.
