Ohio State will still be a No.2 seed even if it beats the Illini on Sunday, but where the Buckeyes will get on that line could still be decided on Sunday. Alabama are also a No.2 seed and will also play for the SEC tournament championship on Sunday.

Georgetown slaughtered Creighton 73-48 to win the Big East Championship and that league’s automatic bid. The Hoyas weren’t going to go to the field any other way. To make room for them, Drake had to move.
Not to be outdone, the state of Oregon also stole an offer by beating Colorado 70-68 to win the Pac-12 title. Beavers join Hoyas as 12 seeds in the holder. Utah State, losing to San Diego State in Mountain West’s title game, was taken off the field to make way for Oregon State.
It may not be over yet. Cincinnati is on deck as the Bearcats face Houston for the American Athletic Conference title on Sunday. As it stands, the state of Colorado should be fighting for the Cougars.
Georgia Tech won its first ACC tournament title since 1993 and now finds itself in the middle of the range in an 8-9 game.
Additionally, Hartford won the America East title over UMass-Lowell early Saturday morning to win the Hawks’ first-ever NCAA tournament appearance.
Five more seeds lost in their conference tournaments today, bringing the total to 19 who failed to win their conference titles. That’s out of just 31 conferences. The only seeds in the conference tournaments that will be played tomorrow are Alabama and Saint-Bonaventure.
