Brad Pitt says he'll act less movies than ever

Brad Pitt plays in two huge movies in 2019, the already released Once upon a time in Hollywood and the next space film Ad Astra. But he has always been a bit difficult with his projects, and now, Pitt says his acting roles will likely be even fewer and spaced out in the future.

In fact, talk before Ad AstraBrad Pitt explained how he had invested in other activities besides theater, including production, but also in areas other than film. According to Pitt,

Brad Pitt spoke about his upcoming project in the New York Times. Ad Astra and how he was able to reach emotional heights given his personal life while filming. He also explained to the audience that playing was a "younger man's game" before mentioning that he liked doing things like landscaping and sculpture, not to mention production.

He would not be the first actor to take the act, or at least to pause. Many actors end up giving up their role. Some stay at home to manage a household or simply withdraw from the limelight. Some move to other areas of the industry, as Brad Pitt did with his company Plan B, which has produced many films, including: 12 years of slaverywho won the Oscar for best film.

Some, like Clint Eastwood and Jordan Peele, still act, but also find a place in the industry behind the camera. So, it does not seem that Brad Pitt speaks so much of the word "retirement" that he hopes to reduce his activities. (Unlike his Once upon a time in Hollywood director Quentin Tarantino, who seems to really like to talk about his retirement.)

Apparently, Brad Pitt will have concerts in Babylon and the long-awaited Second World War, although we were saying that because the first is rumored and the last was announced years ago and never had enough appeal, and is currently at the point where it might not be produce.

If these fail, Brad Pitt will only have upcoming production concerts, including Kajillionaire, Irresistible, Blond, The curious incident of the dog in the night (of which he is executive producer) and more.

Note that Brad Pitt is one of the few candidates who have been nominated for the personal Oscars but have not won an Oscar for their performance. He recently spoke of this, noting that he was not too distorted about it, but that if he was more interested in producing roles in the future, an Oscar might be missed.

Still, he will certainly stay busy, even if he says he is a producer:

You can see it in stage makeup when Ad Astra officially open on Friday, September 20th. Take a look at what will happen before the end of the year with our movie schedule.
