Bradley Whitford entered history as the first person to win an Emmy in the comic and dramatic categories. Recipient of the Creative Arts Emmys Award on Sunday for his role as Commander Lawrence Lawrence in Hulu's The tale of the maid, Whitford had previously won the comic version for Transparent in 2015.
But Whitford was quick to offer a distinction to an actor who was not named. "The awards presented are not arenas of justice.
