Brandon Copeland Jets suspended four games for DEP

The Jets will be denied Brandon Copeland for the first four games of the season after the NFL suspended the linebacker for violating the league's performance-enhancing substances policy.

Copeland has again signed with the Jets after the 2018 season and should help improve the team's top speed.

Copeland will be eligible to return to the active lineup on October 7, one day after the fifth week of the Jets against the Eagles. (The Jets have a goodbye at week 4.)

For now, it hurts a position that was already starter-free Avery Williamson, who tore his ACL in the second pre-season game of the Jets.
