Brandon Graham injury: Eagles defensive end swept away by leg problem

[ad_1]

[UPDATE]: No official word yet, but things don’t sound right for Brandon Graham, who has reportedly suffered an Achilles tendon injury. We all know what that means, the veteran Eagles would likely miss the rest of the 2021 season.

Whatever the prognosis, he certainly won’t return to Sunday’s game against the 49ers.

ORIGINAL STORY BELOW.

First, Brandon Brooks was sidelined with a chest injury, then veteran Eagles defenseman Brandon Graham fell and was down just before half-time in Sunday’s game against the 49ers. Graham was clearly in pain, was pounding the ground and was unable to leave the field on his own. He kept his weight on his left leg as he was helped on the sidelines and was eventually brought back to the locker room.

Graham’s teammates were visibly upset for their leader, with many helping him off the pitch and offering him comforting words as he made his way to the sidelines.

Fortunately, the Eagles have some depth on the defensive line and have already seen some big leaps in production this season from guys like Javon Hargrave, Josh Sweat and Derek Barnett. But still, BG is the lifeblood of the Eagles’ defense, and his energy is contagious, so any time he has to miss will be felt throughout the locker room.

Hoping for good news for the fan favorite.
