Bravo is not moving forward with a reunion for season 13 of “Real Housewives of New York City,” the network announced on Friday.
“Due to scheduling issues related to the timely recording of the ‘The Real Housewives of New York City’ reunion, Bravo has confirmed that there will be no reunion for this season,” said a spokesperson in a press release. “It’s disappointing not to be able to get the cast together, but we’re happy to have ended on such a high note with the finale, and we’re now focusing on next season.”
The decision comes weeks after the season finale aired on August 31. Reunions for the “Real Housewives” franchise are typically taped before the end of the season, but as TheWrap previously reported, Bravo had hoped to tape the reunion later this month or early October.
Ratings for “The Real Housewives of New York” have dropped to record levels this season, despite escalating tensions between cast members Ramona Singer, LuAnn de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, Leah McSweeney and the newcomer. Eboni K. Williams.
Bravo has filmed “Housewives” reunions during the pandemic before, including last year’s season 12 for “RHONY.” Recent seasons of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” and “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” have virtually turned their meetings.
