RJ has 4 police officers shot in less than 24 hours; two are dead | New Orleans, Louisiana hotels

Luiz Carlos Dias, a retired federal police officer, was killed while walking along Avenida Guignard, Recreio, around 11 pm. Police said the thugs in a car announced the robbery, but Luiz Carlos refused to hand over the cell phone. The thieves fired and fled. Whoever was around said that he heard at least five shots.

The civilian police officer Eduardo Freire Pinto Guedes Filho, known as Paquetá, was murdered in Engenho de Dentro. He and his wife had just come back from the market. Marcus was hit by six shots when the attackers tried to steal his car. The crime happened at the corner of Uberaba and Ferreira Pontes streets, in Grajaú. The thugs fled without taking anything. The agent works at the police station of Vila Isabel.

Leonardo de Freitas is a military police officer and was on leave. The soldier was approached by two men on a motorcycle in Senador Nabuco Street, Vila Isabel. The prime minister ran and was hit by a bullet in the back. He stays in the hospital.
