Back home, Serbia had no words for Brazil, a "power"

Serbia has been cautious in the wind and all that it had in Brazil's swift, clever and disciplined defense, but that has not worked and has been punished for the brilliance of it. on the other hand, acknowledged coach Mladen Krstajic.

After being beaten by Switzerland on Friday, Serbia had to beat the national team five times Wednesday in its last Group E match to qualify on the Swiss front. But a goal from Paulinho in the first half and another of Thiago Silva in the second half was the price of the adventure.

"We were ahead in the first half, taking the moment Brazil scored," Krstajic told reporters. "It's in these moments that the individual qualities of the players appear."

"We went out to win a modern football power and we are speechless, I congratulate my players for their brave efforts, their attitude towards the crest and the shirt."

"We are putting a lot of pressure in the second half and we are trying to take risks … but it is very difficult to play such an open match against a football power like Brazil," he said.

"It's like that in football, we need to improve our game."

"We took more chances in the second half, we had our chances but we were punished," said Krstajic.
