After proving to be a good team with "Wonder Woman", actor Chris Pine and director Patty Jenkins will partner in a new media – the television mini-series.
In the plot, we follow the actual story of Fauna Hodel (India Eisley), a girl who was abandoned by her parents when she was newborn. Decades later, she explores the secrets of her past, which led to a famous Hollywood gynecologist, Dr. George Hodel (Jefferson Mays).
Pine appears in the trailer as Jay Singletary, a former soldier who became a reporter for a vehicle of dubious reputation.
With six episodes, the miniseries has a screenplay of Sam Sheridan ("SEAL Team") and Monica Beletsky ("The Wonder Woman"), ("Fargo"). TNT has not released a specific start date, but "I Am The Night" is expected to be released in the first months of 2019.
