The 08 cases with out-of-state transmission live in the municipalities of Biguaçu (01), Canoinhas (01), Florianópolis (01), Itajaí (01), Joinville (03) and São José (01). are the states of Mato Grosso do Sul, Bahia, Federal District, São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Paraná and Paraíba.
232 cases were reported in the state, of which 8 were confirmed, 181 were scrapped and 43 were studied. Of those who had confirmation, 5 were transmitted out of state. Three are indigenous (transmitted in the state), by the inhabitants of Cunha Porã (2) and São Miguel do Oeste (1).
In comparison with the same period of 2017, 232 cases were reported and, compared to confirmed cases, there were 26 imported and non-indigenous cases.
51 cases of zika virus were reported, of which 44 were rejected, 2 suspected and 4 inconclusive. A case has been confirmed and imported – the patient lives in Piratuba and has contracted in Mato Grosso.
There was a 16% decrease in case reports compared to the same period in 2017, when there were 61 records.
