We recently showed that the Turkish Samsung had released a list of handsets that could receive Android Oreo this month. Now, the South Korean giant has confirmed through its official channel that the owners of these devices will have to wait a little longer.
This is because the company reported that the Galaxy J3, the Galaxy J5 Pro and the Galaxy J7 Pro will only receive the Android Oreo on September 28 . All devices on the list are the models that were released last year.
Previously, the release date of the update was July 13, and it even circulated on the Web. However, anyone entering the support site of the company now notices that the date was changed in September .
With the change of the official list, many people were disappointed with the company. For now, Samsung has not commented on the reason for the postponement of this update for these devices.
In this way, we have to wait for an explanation from the South Korean giant. It should be remembered that the company is in the final preparations for the launch of the highly anticipated Galaxy Note 9 which is expected to hit the market with some news that has already been shown in several leaks.
In the expectation of Android Oreo on your device? What did you think of this postponement? Tell us your opinion here in the comments.
