Netflix, according to rumors circulating in Europe, is preparing to launch a new subscription plan, which should be the most expensive so far. The new option should include access to HDR content, in addition to what is already included in the Premium Plan.
The most expensive option is called "Ultra Plan", according to the Italian blog Tutto Android. In addition to HDR support, which requires compatible hardware, there are no other new features in the Ultra plan.
Italian users claim to have received the test offer, and report that the premium subscription may have a rather unpleasant degradation. Instead of being able to watch Netflix content simultaneously on four screens, Premium subscribers will have a reduced capacity of only two.
Similarly, the default subscription must be downgraded to only support one monitor. The all-new Ultra plan should support four monitors Netflix should launch a new plan with a higher value. The company still has not commented on the likely changes.
