After spending the day welcoming parliamentarians to the PSDB headquarters in Brasilia, the presidential candidate, Geraldo Alckmin, went to the National Congress on Wednesday to discuss this year's elections. Without warning the press, Alckmin had a meeting at the head of the party in the Senate with the Toucans Aécio Neves (MG), Tbado Jereissati (EC) and the bench leader in the House, Paulo Bauer (SC). According to the press office, the meeting happened by chance.

Alckmin also had a private conversation with the PP Chair, Senator Ciro Nogueira (PI), at the Parliament Office. The meeting took place a few hours after Ciro attended the meeting of the center in the house of Mayor Rodrigo Maia (DEM-RJ), which has ended without definition on which candidate the block – composed of PP, SD , PHS, PR, PRB and DEM – should support.

Alckmin's allies were more optimistic after the center meeting on Wednesday. The badessment is that the PRB has given clear signals that it wants to leave the bloc, which in turn has shown its intention to support the PDT pre-candidate for president, Ciro Gomes. The PRB prefers the group to form a coalition with the toucan.

Reunion

Earlier, Alckmin also received the pre-candidate for the government of Rio de Janeiro. January, MP Indio da Costa (PSD), who came to ask for support in the state elections. The Toucans are divided between supporting Indio or Eduardo Paes (DEM). Members of the legend believe that Paes could attract the DEM to Alckmin, but could make him lose the support of the PSD.

After the meeting with Alckmin, Indio told the press that he came to "update" the toucan on the electoral situation in Rio, but not to hurry him. "We're walking, I did not come to put a knife in my chest, even because it's up to the PSDB to decide who will support the party."

Indio, Jose Serra's vice presidential candidate (PSDB) of 2010, claimed that he considers "natural" to get up in Alckmin's platform and who feels "at comfortable in the PSDB. "Alckmin is now the best presidential candidate, and I will vote for him."

Alckmin holds a series of meetings in Brasilia this Wednesday and is expected to return to Sao Paulo around 10:00 pm. He also received MEPs Otavio Leite (RJ), Ricardo Tripoli (SP), Nilson Leitao (MT) and Bruno Araújo (EP).
