Nintendo published a video via Twitter where the executive producer of the company's various software Shinya Takahashi, made some comments on the games well received by the public –
A big surprise is that after mentioning the recent update that brought compatibility with the Nintendo Labo Motorbike the legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Splatter 2 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Takahashi says that "there will be new updates for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe". Although there is no other information on the news planned, we can expect the game support to continue for a while.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, the final and updated version of the Wii U racing game, was released for the Switch on April 28, 2017.
