Accused of murdering a 12-year-old girl, Vitória Gabrielly Guimarães Vaz, they realized that they had kidnapped the wrong teenager even before deciding to kill her. This is what prosecutors say São Paulo Attorney General (MP-SP), in a complaint accepted by the court, and obtained by the "State".

According to the MP-SP, Vitória Gabrielly was kidnapped at around 14:10 on June 8 while she was on roller skates at the Champions Gymnasium of Tocantins Street in Araçariguama. She would be killed the same day, in an "uncertain time".
According to him, Bruno, Mayara and Julio had already had misunderstandings with people who came and who had links to drugs, they decided to take someone from the debtor's family. MP-SP. "For that, they watched for a moment, until Mayara left the car and came back with Victoria, holding her firmly by the arms and putting her in the vehicle at the back, with Julio."
For the prosecution, the trio would have noticed that they had kidnapped the wrong person after hiding in the car. "Nevertheless, they deliberately deliberated and then killed the victim, so as not to leave traces of the kidnapping that had taken place before."
Reports from the Institute of Forensic Science indicated that the girl was in a hurry and was suffocating. Marks on her arms and legs would also indicate that she was trying to defend herself against the attacker and that she would have been tied up by the arms and ankles.
Clumsy pattern
Prosecutors understood that the murder had occurred because of an embarrbading motive (to accuse the slave trade), of cruel means and to conceal an earlier crime. Among the qualifiers, they also included that the murders used a remedy that made it impossible to defend the victim.
The accused allegedly attempted to hide the body of Victoria Gabrielly on a dirt road surrounded by vegetation, the Mayor of the Domingos Marucci Road. Mayara, for example, says that she was in a beauty salon at the time of the crime. For the prosecution, the alibis presented by them would be "utterly fragile". "The expert evidence produced supports Julio Cesar's version and provides sufficient evidence of paternity," says the complaint.
The case is brought before the San Roque Criminal Court, which complained Tuesday of the complaint. Judge Flávio Roberto de Carvalho accepted the ministerial request and remanded the accused. Also in his decision, in order to preserve the evidence produced during the police investigation phase and the protected witnesses, the judge determined that the confidentiality of the case was upheld. Upon receipt of the complaint, the defendants will be summoned and must answer to the charge.
The couple's lawyer, Jairo Coneglian, says that he intends to demonstrate the innocence of the couple still in the investigation phase of the process. "The evidence presented is weak," he said. "The only element is the testimony of a person who has already changed the testimony two or three times."
