São Paulo, ( AFI) – More than 47,000 tickets have already been sold at the Sao Paulo-Corinthians Clbadic Saturday at 9:00 pm for the 14th round of the Brazilian Championship, which means that Morumbi will record its biggest audience this season so far. The biggest occupation of the stadium this year was 42.8 thousand, in the semi-finals of the paulista championship, when São Paulo won the same opponents 1-0 on 25 March.

After seeing their public and collectible averages drop at the start of the season – especially compared to the state of last year -, São Paulo again has plenty of backing in his home. In 2017, the club recorded the five largest audiences of Brasileirão in the last part of the tournament, even likely to be downgraded.

This year, until now, it is the Cariocas who dominate the best box office of Brasileirão. The clbadic Fluminense x Flamengo led 59,900 fans to Maracanã on June 7, the biggest audience this year's Nacional. Flamengo still holds three of the other four best audiences, registered in duels against Internacional (55.2 thousand), Paraná (54.5 thousand) and São Paulo (51.7 thousand), all in Maracanã. In the Top 5 is also Ceará, who took 51,900 fans to Castelão for the match against the same Flamengo.

A good public may not be the only reason to be well celebrated in São Paulo this Saturday. A victory over Corinthians can lead the team to take the lead of Brasileirão. For that, besides the victory, it is hoped that Flamengo will not defeat Botafogo, hours previously, in Maracanã, at the opening of the 14th round. A single point separates Saint-Paulines and flamenguistes from the clbadification table.
