In the latest interview published by the newspapers Correio do Povo do Paraná, Laranjeiras do Sul and Extra Guarapuava, the state deputy Bernardo Ribas Carli (PSDB), which ends in 2018 his second term as a deputy from the state, talked about the current political moment, achievements for Guarapuava and the region, as well as his legacy and the political future.

Jornal Correio (JC) – What is your badessment of this year's work as a parliamentarian?

Bernardo R. Carli – I rate as a very positive year the problems inherent in Guarapuava, mainly the works and the strategic improvements for the population. The fact that we are at the base of this government allows us to participate in hearings and resource discussions. It is important to highlight the Civil House which has become the meeting point for mayors and councilors, in the presentation of claims. As a representative of Guarapuava, I believe we have a positive badessment of the people for our dedication and advocacy.

This is – I have the impression of being a member of the Council of Ministers of the European Union happy to work in both these terms in as a parliamentarian. From the beginning, when I wanted to enter public life, it would be very transparent in my actions, where one of the main flags still raised in the campaign was the regional hospital, which has about 75% of the work completed. It will serve patients in 40 cities, with approximately 1,300 servers working in one place. With that, we will correct a gap in care that has lasted nearly ten years. Where we regret the closure of hospitals in the cities of the region. The hospital is an achievement that marks the union of the population and its elected officials. The largest construction site of the state, under construction in our city. With investments of about 50 million reais, in a hospital complex, with high technology equipment, accessibility and spaces of great comfort for patients and their families.

JC – How was this link in harmony with Artagão Junior and Cristina Silvestri. Has this contributed to the achievements and transformations of Guarapuava?

Carli – Look! As I told you about the Regional Hospital, we have the Specialty Center with over $ 10 million in investments, duplicates, regional airports, and more. 39, urban infrastructure, housing and many other relevant achievements. Of course, it was not an isolated work, had a partnership with the deputy Artagão, Cristina and Mayor Cesar Silvestri Filho. If we had each set aside, many of these achievements would not have happened. We have built a political maturity in the defense of this city and certainly many other achievements will come. Governor Beto Richa was very happy in the attention and dedication in these trials

JC – The Campo Real Medicine Course and other undergraduate courses have placed the city in a university level high level?

Carli – Certainly, we have taken a step further in globalization, with the formalization of the medical course at Campo Real College, with whom we now have a medical residence in the city . There were already several courses in the medical field and there was a lack of drugs to top off and give the quality in higher education offered here. Guarapuava is a giant step, where I congratulate every community of Campo Real for this achievement more than deserved. We must highlight the work of Professor Lurdes Leal and Edson Aires, for the project that led to the completion of the course. I love the joy of Pacheco and other support members. Now we go to the fight for the free medicine course at Unicentro, which is also one of my flags of fights and parliamentary purpose.

JC – Residential Housing Set 2000 began with the management of his father Fernando Carli.

Carli – I feel happy and proud because with my father I learned very young to do politics. Fernando Carli has a legacy of work and achievements for the Guarani people. Residencial 2000 at the beginning did not have the appropriate infrastructure and Mayor Carli made the land allocation and started the houses, which were now relying on the work and the commitment of the Mayor, Cesar Filho, who brilliantly concluded the project, incorporating other infrastructure actions, such as the extension of the XV de Novembro street. A union of efforts that has resulted in decent living conditions and housing for hundreds of families who work and pay their taxes.

JC – Your father Fernando recently stated that you had a mission to follow the political legacy. What are your future claims?

Carli – My responsibility is enormous because Fernando Carli has a history of struggles and achievements in this city. We are happy because we are trying to make the most of what we have set ourselves. We can not overcome it at all, we have a lot to celebrate with local and regional people. We are able to continue this work, even more strengthened, experienced and wanting to do much more for Guarapuava as a state deputy

JC – What is the message for the Guarapuavans in these 198 years of founding the city?

Carli – Congratulations to all the guarapuavano who adopted this city to live, raise their children and prosper. We live in a city of neat people, which receives its visitors very well. People focused on their goals and who contribute significantly, with a very strong participation in the state and the national economy. May we continue to provide the necessary conditions so that everyone has a good quality of life, with public services provided according to the needs of each citizen. Thank you Guarapuava, for the confidence and maturity that we have obtained in personal and parliamentary life
