Chapecoense tied for the second home game against Santos on Sunday and remained 14th in the Brazilian championship standings. Once again, the team had a bad first half, improved in the second stage but not enough to win. At least Verdão stayed in front of Santos, with 16 points, one more than the fish. The problem is that it's only two points behind the relegation zone of Serie A of the Brazilian Championship .

Coach Gilson Kleina even changed the team to two positions compared to the one that drew 1-1 with Bahia. Douglas returned to Luiz Otávio's place and, Canteros, gave way to striker Leandro Pereira.

However, the inclusion of another striker did not reflect in more chances of goal. In the first half were a few throws of attack. In the first 15 minutes were two chances of goal, but with little danger. Bruno Silva nodded. Wellington Paulista also tried to direct, the ball deflected to the back and pbaded near the Vanderlei radius.

Of the 30 minutes that had the main chances was the Santos. In a corner kick, Bruno Henrique was in the lead but sent to the highest. Jean Mota gave a free kick and Jandrei defended. A minute later, Jean Mota shot from the outside and the ball went dangerously over the crossbar. Sasha was also marked by a left corner shot that pbaded near Jandrei's left crossbar.

The first-half performance reflects Gilson Kleina's closed face as he crosses the grounds of the Arena Condá towards the locker room.

Chapecoense returns at the start of the second half and scored four corners in 11 minutes, but none worked. The most dangerous blow was a shot from outside the Elicarlos area, which Vanderlei scored

. Then it was Luiz Antônio's turn to score, on a free kick that deviated in the bar and narrowly missed the goal. As the goal did not leave coach Gilson Kleina again called Osman, who beat Bahia and tied it up.

And it was not long before Osman made an excellent center for Bruno Silva, who kicked him.

Then the crowd even came to celebrate a goal from Wellington Paulista, but the referee canceled a disability.

Chapecoense fans did not celebrate a victory after the World Cup.

The next opponent of Chapecoense Botafogo, Thursday 19:30, in Engenhão
