Kingston announced the launch in Brazil of the new UV500 SSD range, the first of the brand equipped with NAND Flash 3D technology with full AES 256-bit encryption, allowing you to automatically encrypt on your own drive without use your computer
The SSD has 2.5 inches, M.2 2280 and mSATA, storage capacities of 120 GiB, 240 GiB, 480 GiB and 960 GiB, SATA-600 interface, Marvell 88SS1074 controller, playback speeds and recording up to 39; at 520 MiB / s and 500 MiB / s, respectively, random read up to 79 000 IOPS and random record up to 45 000 IOPS, up to a million MTBF lifetimes and compatibility with the Opal 2.0 TCG protocol.
The new series of SSD UV500 has a five-year warranty, free local technical support and is already on sale in the Brazilian market for prices between 270.47 and 378.35 R $ (120 Gio); R $ 445.76 and R $ 646.94 (240 Gio); R $ 823.41 and R $ 1,176.35 (480 Gio); and R $ 1,763.41 and R $ 1,929.29 (960 Gio), depending on the format.
