The mayor of Iporá, Naçoitan Leite (PSDB), was filming intimidation agents of the Detran-GO Ballade who went to make an inspection in the city. A video that circulates on social networks shows one of the men – who is part of the watch group – talking to the mayor.
In the video, the mayor says that it is not against the inspection, but that it can harm the agricultural exhibition happening in the city. "I have nothing against, I have against a day of such an event.In addition to breaking the event, it breaks the government," he says. During the conversation, the agent says that the priority is security. The mayor responds: "To this security case."
Wanted, the mayor said that he did not stop the work of Detran agents. But he signaled that it should be reported before the inspection would go to the city. Naçoitan Leite also said that he was favorable to the inspection, but that Iporá has only one agricultural party per year and that the right people would be punished.
