Former Nissan Motors chairman, Carlos Ghosn, detained in Japan, will remain in prison until at least January 1, after a court in Japan has approved the prosecutor's request to extend his decision on Sunday. The 64-year-old businessman has been in pre-trial detention since 19 November for being hidden from the authorities in a million-dollar income stipulated with the company since 2011 and an alleged breach of trust aggravated by the attempt to coerce Nissan

As for Ghosn, there are three warrants so far, including one with a formal charge, for alleged concealment of income between 2011 and 2015. [19659002] It is pending that the Office of the Prosecutor adopts decisions on the second arrest warrant relating to income between 2015 and 2018,

The sudden demand for the accusation was taken in the face of the imminent release of Ghosn after a court in the Japanese capital on Thursday rejected an extension of the second arrest warrant, which would allow his lawyer to apply for bail.
