The new Galaxy Sport smart watch, Gear Sport's successor, has not been released by Samsung yet, but the images that have been leaked show what the device design will look like. In addition to the name change, leaving the Gear range to adopt the famous Galaxy, the new smartwatch does not have ribbed or serrated edges, which does not prevent it from turning to certain functions.
The screen seems to have a metal finish. brushed at the loop. The design is discreet but modern and certainly different from what we saw before at Samsung.
Up to now, there is little information on the internal specifications of the smart watch. It should bring 4 GB of RAM and work with the Tizen operating system. It will focus on the sport and will therefore bring several sensors related to the recording of physical activity. It should not have an independent 4G connection and can be announced on February 20, with the Galaxy S10, or later on the MWC 2019.
The Galaxy Sport won the model number SM-R500 and has already been registered from the FCC, the US Federal Communications Commission, which leaves you free to be published by the company if everything is ready. The release date, however, as we have already mentioned, remains a mystery.
