An international drug trafficker, linked to a criminal faction in São Paulo, was arrested Monday (4) in Balneário Camboriú, on the north coast of Santa Catarina. With this, was seized 100,000 dollars of money, according to the federal police.

"According to reports, he may have been living in Balneário Camboriú since November, when we launched an investigation, the federal police of Santa Catarina and that of Mato Grosso do Sul, and we identified two properties that he would have been arrested in one of these buildings, "said delegate Thiago Giavarotti, federal police of Itajaí.
Among the crimes attributed to him are the murders of a civilian police officer, a lawyer, a former businessman and mayoral candidate.
