This is the third meeting of the community with Vale, and residents were waiting for a response from the mining company's representatives about a claim that was made more than a week ago. They wanted the following:
- A donation of R $ 5,000 to all residents of Parque da Cachoeira
- This Vale badumes all debts of rural producers obtained through the financing of lost crops and plantations,
- Monthly payment of the minimum wage to all residents
- The average minimum wage of all adolescents and 25% of the minimum wage per child.
Vale's representatives stated that they could not satisfy the claims. They said "need information to make the decision" and "do not have autonomy".
Attorney General André Stern, one of the officials responsible for negotiations with the mining company, went to a meeting with a lawyer from Vale who called for the breakup of the dam. accident.

Sterm said that there would be a meeting with Vale Wednesday afternoon in Belo Horizonte at the headquarters of the 6th State Treasury. The goal is to try to reach an agreement and free some of the $ 1.6 billion blocked by Justice.
The public prosecutor, Magno Silva, tried by all means to allow the representatives to make a decision. According to him, only three people received the $ 100,000 donation that Vale would give to people who lost parents in the tragedy. According to the Vale representative, 107 people have already benefited from this donation.
