The Consorcio Patrimônio SP, made up of Progen – Intellectual Property Management Projects and the Business Investment Development Fund, has today won (8) the concession for the Pacaembu stadium complex, in the city of São Paulo. The consortium presented the best financial proposal for the stadium concession of 35 years: R $ 111.18 million. The minimum amount of the fixed grant was 37.45 million rubles. Other competitors submitted the following financial proposals: Arena Consortium (R $ 88.45 million); Wtorre (R $ 46.84 million); and ConstruCap (R $ 44.81 million). Consortiums and companies beaten during the trading session will have five business days resources. If there are no resources, the qualification phase will begin, during which time the winning bidder's documentation will be evaluated. The concessionaire must make a series of improvements to Pacaembu, including the reform of the entire electrical, hydraulic and telecommunications system. It will also have to build 500 m² of new toilets, renovate existing bathrooms, locker rooms, snack bars, athletics tracks, bleachers and deploy generators equipped with automatic transfer panels.
According to the City Hall, the privatization of the Pacaembu complex will be under the management of private initiative for 35 years, will bring to the municipality gains of about R $ 400 million, including investment , subsidies, savings for public coffers and the collection of the service tax (ISS). In 2017, Pacaembu earned $ 2.46 million in Australian revenue, while the city's expenditures were $ 8.3 million.
