A clinic suspected of badual abuse is being investigated at the Hacienda HealthCare Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona, after a 14-year-old coma patient gave birth to a child on December 29th.
Fourteen years ago, the patient was taken to the hospital after nearly drowning. Throughout the coma period, she needed 24-hour care and obviously had no chance to defend herself.
Authorities reported that many people had access to the room, but the security protocol has completely changed. A source told CBS's KPHO-TV channel in Phoenix that "now, if an employee has to enter a room reserved for a woman, he must be accompanied by an employee."
Police Sergeant Tommy Thompson, of Phoenix, said the case was under investigation and that little information had been leaked about it.
