The young Sergio Luiz Ferreira da Silva, a 19-year-old boy born to the epidermolysis bullosa, a genetic disease responsible for the sensitivity of the skin, died Sunday (1) after suffering anemia. He was transported to Júlio Muller Hospital and referred to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

The young man had the stature of a 10-year-old child. In 2017, he was also diagnosed with a knee tumor and had to amputate one of his legs.
