Apple Pay starts accepting bank cards from Banco do Brasil

[ad_1]

Officially launched in Brazil in April this year, Apple Pay was exclusive to Itaú customers. But it seems that this will change in the coming days as Banco do Brasil's customers are already able to add credit cards to the Apple payment platform.

As reported in MacMagazine it is not yet possible to check the cards, which prevents users from making payments. At the time of the announcement of Apple Pay in Brazil, it was revealed that Apple and Itaú would conclude an exclusive agreement for 90 days. It is likely that the possibility of making payments with Banco do Brasil cards will be activated at the time of the expiry of this period. It is still not possible to know if Apple Pay will work with MasterCard.
